Presented by the Red Deer Native Friendship Society. Enroll here and RDNFS will be in touch with you for the intake process.
Winter day camp format: We will cover different topics related with healthy living, plus time for arts & crafts and traditional games in the course of one week, from 9:30am. to 4:30pm (Saturday until 3pm.)If you have children age below 4, please also mention them, as childminding services will be provided.
The dates and place for the Winter Camp are:
- Tuesday, February 18 to Saturday, February 22, 2025 @ Red Deer Public Library's Downtown
A gift will be given to families that attend the whole week.
Goal of Celebrating Families!: To help children and families to be healthy, responsible, and addiction free.
Objectives: 1. To break the cycle of addiction in families. 2. To decrease participants' use of alcohol and other drugs by increasing their knowledge and use of healthy living skills. 3. To increase the rate of family reunification.
