Art Speaks is a learning series developed and delivered in partnership with the Red Deer Arts Council.
Photographing Your 3D Artworks: Essential Skills for Professional Digital Photo-Documentation
This presentation is for artists who want to develop skill in documenting their 3D artworks. By focusing on the basic principles and methods, Paul Leathers will assist you in developing the ability to see beyond the artwork and into the image. He will discuss setting up a photoshoot for use with a smartphone or digital point-and-shoot camera as well as various accessories and software that can be used to vastly improve image quality. 📷
“Photo-documentation is the last step in finishing an artwork; a necessary one that, in our increasingly busy schedules, is all too often neglected. The point here is to keep the process simple and inexpensive, …so that it gets done!”
📌 IMPORTANT NOTE! This session of Art Speaks will be hosted in The White Gallery, located in the lower level of Sunworks Living at 110-4913 50 Ave. 🎨
