Event Description
Welcome to Red Deer Public Library’s first ever spoken word poetry night!
Poetry performances are a great way to explore the world of poetry and spoken word; to be inspired, meet new people, feel creative, and have fun. Come listen to great poetry, cheer on the performers or speak your own words. All levels and abilities are welcome. No registration required for audience members!
There are some rules:
- #1 Performances are limited to three minutes each
- #2 You must perform original work.
This is an adult presentation and due to the personal nature of submissions, subjects may not be suitable for children.
Performing poets please register by emailing Shannon at programs@rdpl.org.
