The Red Deer Hootenanny returns on Alberta’s Heritage Day, August 3, 2026, bringing a full afternoon of live music, local culture, and community spirit to Heritage Square at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery.
Enjoy an exciting lineup featuring live performances, local makers and artists, delicious food trucks, and interactive art activities for all ages. It’s a celebration of creativity, connection, and everything that makes our community shine!

The Hootenanny Haberdashery Market brings together bits, bobs, notions, art, and handmade goods of all kinds. Local artists, artisans, and makers are invited to showcase and sell their work in the heart of the festival. Applications are now open—join the lineup and be part of the Hootenanny experience.
Enjoy a rotating selection of fan-favourite food trucks serving up great eats all afternoon, along with plenty of family-friendly activities, including art experiences for all ages, community engagement stations, and hands-on fun for the kids.
