Youth HQ 50th Anniversary Celebration

It is with great excitement we invite you to participate in a very special event!

For the past fifty years, Youth HQ has had the honour of providing support to thousands of youth through our programs which encompasses all the names we have gone by or go by: Big Brothers Big Sisters, BGC Red Deer & District (formally Boys and Girls Club), Camp Alexo, 49^th Street Youth Shelter, Clearwater Boys and Girls Club, Youth and Volunteer Centre. Our Mission ‘To provide safe supportive spaces and positive mentoring relationships where young people experience new opportunities and develop confidence and skills for life.’ continues to drive our volunteers, staff, families and youth.

Youth HQ is hosting our 50 Year Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, May 21^st at Bo’s Bar and Stage! The event will run from 6:00pm until 10pm, and include a terrific meal, conversation and lots  memory sharing, and is open to current members, alumni, supporters, donors, and the entire community. Reconnecting and celebrating the relationships of the past 50 years that have “made a difference one kid at a time” will help highlight the importance of valuing each individual which has been at the core of what we do since we began!
