Event Description
The Red Deer Mountain Bike Association (RDMBA) is to host its sixth annual race event in the Red Deer Mountain Bike Park. The purpose of this event is to invite club members to participate in a fun and competitive timed event utilizing the trail system in the Red Deer Mountain Bike Park. This event is intended to generate participation from the community and to promote the sustainability of trails in Red Deer.
The race will be formatted as an enduro stage race, with 4 timed “special” stages, and untimed liaison stages between them for access. Special stages will be ridden individually with a minimum of 30 second spacing between riders. Riders will be divided into categories by age and sex, with the winner of each category being decided by the lowest combined time from all 4 special stages.
