Event Description
Join us at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery for First Friday on May 1 from 5-8pm with snacks and refreshments as we highlight our new exhibit: Held in Balance: A Symmetry Between Structure and Narrative by Steve Mitts!
Using wood salvaged from century-old grain bins and composed entirely of reclaimed materials, each piece carries a subtle story, creating a quiet dialogue between visual form and underlying meaning.
We will also be hosting an art project in the Stewart Discovery Studio. After visiting the exhibit, drop by to learn how to make a low relief collage inspired by Steve Mitts’ exhibit!
