Discover the wonders of authentic, time-honoured methods of wild fermentation with us and The Fermentation Station on Saturday, September 6 from 2- 4pm. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to expand their fermentation skills, this hands-on class will guide you through the steps to create delicious, gut-healthy veggies at home with confidence. This workshop is your chance to learn the time-honored art of fermenting vegetables. With hands-on guidance and expert tips, you’ll not only master the basics of lacto-fermentation but also gain insights into its incredible health benefits. Perfect for beginners or anyone eager to dive deeper into the world of fermented foods! Not sure if you will enjoy authentic fermented veggies? That’s ok, Jason will bring some of his own creations to sample and share with the group. Learn the art and science behind making traditional sauerkraut, kimchi, and old school pickling with probiotic brines. The techniques learned here can be used to make your own fermented sauerkraut, kimchi, salsa, condiments, spreads, and more. You’ll also go home with a 36 page informational booklet and your own sauerkraut creation. This workshop is $70 per person and open to ages 14+ (please note that sharp knives will be used throughout the workshop).
