FREE FUN for families with kids aged 4-12 although everyone is welcome and donations are encouraged!
When: Wednesday, July 9th, 2025
Registration from 6:00 PM - 6:25 PM | Activities from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: Kerry Wood Nature Centre, 6300 45 Ave, Red Deer
What: Join Kerry Wood Nature Centre and Nature Alberta to discover the secrets of the Sanctuary! Go on a guided nature walk around the Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary with interpreters from the Kerry Wood Nature Centre and check out fun events led by the Red Deer River Naturalists and Red Deer River Watershed Alliance!

Weather Details: Will run rain or shine - please dress for the weather. In the event of extreme weather, notice of cancellation will be posted on our Facebook page and in the Facebook Event Discussion.
Registration Details: Registration is completed on-site from 6:00 PM - 6:25 PM. We can only accommodate a limited number of families at these events. Be sure to arrive before registration ends to secure your family’s spot.
